In the field of medicine and biology, formalin is popularly used in the dissecting room as a effective and low-cost antiseptic. The formaldehyde pollution in the dissecting room is largely investigated and measured by many people. The result shows that most dissecting rooms in china are badly polluted by formaldehyde, which not only influence the people's health, but also impact the teaching effect.Firstly, in this paper, the formaldehyde pollution status quo, the formaldehyde toxicity, the formaldehyde control standards, various control methods and studying methods are discussed entirely. And then, the existing problems about the formaldehyde pollution control of dissecting rooms are presented.Secondly, about the formaldehyde volatilization mechanism, the macroscopic dynamical expression is analyzed and the key factors which influence formaldehyde diffusion are brought out. The volatilization velocity and thickness distribution of indoor formaldehyde are determined by the four primary factors, the mass thickness of formalin, the indoor temperature and humidity, the airflow state of the specimen and the indoor air distribution. And therefore, those are the central study directions of the formaldehyde pollution control of dissecting rooms.Thirdly, about the air condition design of dissecting rooms, the full fresh air and the great air circulation ratio are required. Obviously the conventional cooling technologies are not reasonable to be introduced into dissecting rooms for their great energy consumption. According to the formaldehyde volatilization mechanism, the lower the temperature is, the lower the formaldehyde volatilization velocity is. Thereby, the evaporative cooling technology is introduced into dissecting rooms for its lower energy-consumption, economy and salubrity. Finally, the different formaldehyde thickness distribution is discussed under seven different ventilating methods. The indoor air distribution is the key factor which influences the formaldehyde thickness distribution. And then, about different ventilating methods, the range of the usable air rate and the minimum ventilation rate are analyzed. Furthermore, the pros and cons of various ventilating methods are compared. With the development of society, health and the relevant work environment is stressed much more. The study of this paper is an interesting work as improving the indoor environment of dissecting rooms.
