| The soybean protein/viscose composite fiber, which manufactured by wet spinning method, is a new regenerated fiber mixed by viscose and soybean protein. It possesses the advantages of both protein fibre and cellulose, especially the better wettability, softness, and smoothness, as well as the healthcare effects for its amino acid component. It's important to understand the structure and performance of the new regenerated fiber for setup a suitable dyeing and finishing process for it. Therefore this topic, in the understanding soybean protein/viscose composite fiber production foundation, emphatically studies following four aspects of the question:(1) Structure and performance of soybean protein/viscose composite fiber. Examine and analyze the fiber appearance, structure and chemical properties with conventional chemical methods and SEM and compared with normal viscose rayon.(2) Bleaching of soybean protein/viscose composite fiber. In addition to get better whiteness for the fiber, it should remain protein within the fiber as much as possible. Bleaching process with hydrogen peroxide was performed. Several factors such as concentration of H2O2, temperature and time of bleaching, and pH of bleaching bath were all studied. Due to the analysis of the bleaching effects and the properties of bleached fiber, it is shown that hydrogen peroxide has a good performance for bleaching soybean protein/viscose composite fiber.(3) Dyestuff selection for soybean protein/viscose composite fiber dyeing. As the soybean protein/viscose composite fiber contains both protein and cellulose components, it can be dyed with reactive dyes, direct dyes, as well as acid dyes. After analyze the K/S value and colour fastness of dyed fiber with these dyes, it is observed that reactive dyes is suitable for soybean protein/viscose composite fiber dyeing. And the bifunctional reactive dye Cibacron FN is very suitable for exhaust dyeing.(4) Dyeing for soybean protein/viscose composite fiber. Dyeing process was further studied with Cibacron FN dyes. Dyeing factors such as temperature, salt, alkaline and liquid ratio were analyzed. Compared to cotton knitting dyeing under the same condition, the salt and the alkaline used for soybean protein/viscose composite fiber knitting dyeing is lower, and got the optimum dyeing condition as follows:... |
