As one of the oldest woody plant, using of Oil Camellia has a history of over 2300 years. Resides tea oil, Oil Camellia seed contains Tea Saponin, flavones and amylase, which could be fully used in daily life, too. The ingredient in the tea oil was determined by the GC/MS analysis.Oleic Acid was the main component as 84.16%, followed by linoleic acid as 3.65%. Palmitic acid and stearic acid were also found in the tea oil 10.78% and 1.41%.In order to find out the best method of extracting Tea Saponin, the conditions had been optimized as follows: the Soxhlet Extraction with 70% ethanol, decdovationby 4% hydrogen peroxide. The extracting yield was 13% and the purity of Tea Saponin was determined as 95.2% by HPLC. Surface tension value of different concentration saponin solution was determined and the CMC was 0.5%, HLB was 16.25. The contact angel was less than 90°Spectrophotometric Determination of flavones in rapeseed with the system NaNO2-Al(NO3)3-NaOH. The extracting yield was 0.8% and the structure of flavone was indentified.Content of amylose in rapeseed was identified and extracted ,too. A reasonable and efficient total extraction of rapeseed were proposed and performed.
