HeZhang germanium dust and fume in GuiZhou province mainly contains the Zinc, Lead, Germanium, Silver etc.We can get concentrated solution namely leaching solution by one stage of sulphuric acid leaching,neutralizing surplus sulphuric acid and eliminating silicon. This paper studied how to separate germanium and zinc from the leaching solution by extracting and re-extracting.In extracting experiment, mainly discussed the primary factors influence the germanium extracting rate: PH of the hydrofacies,complexing agent/ the germanium of hydrofacies(quality ratio), the hydrofacies/the organic phase(volume ratio),the extracting agent/ the organic phase (volume ratio),the use level of phase and extraction time how to influence the germanium extracting rate on the foundation of these single factors experiment, The experiment make clear that factors' proper order which influence germanium extracting rate is complexing agent/ the germanium of hydrofacies(quality ratio), PH of the hydrofacies, the extracting agent/ the organic phase (volume ratio),the hydrofacies/the organic phase(volume ratio), within the scope of the choosed levels. From the orthogonal experiment result we get the optimum technical condition: complexing agent/ the germanium of hydrofacies(quality ratio)is 20, PH of the hydrofacies is 2.0, the extracting agent/ the organic phase (volume ratio) is 30, the hydrofacies/the organic phase(volume ratio) is 4.In re-extracting experiment, the optimum technical condition: the consistency of NaOH is 30%, the organic phase/the hydrofacies (volume ratio) is 2, the reaction time is 5 min, room temperature.
