Flue gas reheat system of wet-method flue gas desufurization is designed because of the problems of bad effect of dehydration and vibration of wind fan. At present, there are many kinds of projects of flue gas reheat systems. This paper analyzes and contrasts different kinds of flue gas reheat systems. It sets up a flue gas reheat system scheme which is tested to have the least energy consumption, simple structure, steady and reliable function. Based on theoretical analysis foundation of dehumidification process of wet flue gas, this paper puts forward to adopt a heat transfer enhancing element called starlike slotted fins-tubes in the design of heating device in order to strengthen heat transfer and satisfy the engineering requirement of security of heating surface. The paper puts up thermodynamic calculations; heat transfer calculations and analysis of economic benefits of flue gas reheat systems. Through adjustment examinations, a mass of data is obtained which can offer precious experience for the design and function of same kind flue gas reheat systems. The reliability, stability and economy of the device have been testified to be fine which has settled the problem of erosion of condensate in tail dust to wind fan, flue, chimney and other structures.
