The ultrahigh-pressure(UHP) water jet technology is one of the practical technologies developed in recent years.This kind of technology has numerous characteristics which other traditional cutting technology does not have.Therefore, the application scopes of ultrahigh-pressure water jet are more and more roominess. Because the traditional water jet cutting is only able to cut the complanate objects and it has rake problem when cutting,so many researching institutions have began to develop the Five-axes water jet cutting machine,this research has became the trend.The paper is based on the four-axes linkage water jet cutting machine produced by Nanjing Dardi International Corporation,and this paper mostly study ultrahigh-pressure water jet technology and water jet cutting machine in following several aspects:The working process of the intensifier and the mathematics model of the ultrahigh-pressure system;on the basis of former theoretical investigation and analyze the primary factors which influence system pressure fluctuation through the simulation method,the electrical control circuit and human interface for ultrahigh-pressure system are designed in this paper.The principle and mathematics model of the five-axes tilting head;the electrical control circuit based on FAGOR 8055 CNC;the PLC program which lies in the CNC system.Finally,correlative debugging,capability testing and cutting experiment are carried out to verify the capabilities of this machine,and introduce the CAD system that used in the experiment.By observing the cutting sample by dint of microscope, we find that the cutting exteriors are comparative velvet,the cutting quality is very good,and it can satisfy the rake cutting which dose not require high precision and the ecumenical complanate cutting.
