Dye wastewater is the main source of Nanshan industrial effluent.If not make rational governance,would have serious environmental harm.It is recognized as a kind of unmanageable industrial effluent,which can be ascribed to its large quantum,high concentration,complex component,dark chroma,high salinity,strong toxicity,and difficulty by biochemical degradation.Photocatalysis-oxidation is a senior oxidation technology with high efficiency.The commonly used catalyst in heterogeneous photocatalysis is nanometer titanium dioxide(TiO2).This can be used for the treatment of dye wastewater.Because of its light stability and high efficiency,titanium dioxide as a photocatalyzer has become a hotspot of domestic and international study at present.In recent years,scientists pay more and more attention to photocatalysis oxide method.As an advanced oxidation processes, photocatalysis oxide method has many merits,for example:photocatalysis processes are simple,TiO2 materials can be easily got,and has good stability and low price etc.The investigations on the preparation method,characteristic of Nan Shan Dye wastewater,application of TiO2 as a photocatalyst,the mechanism,kinetics and technology of photocatalytic treatment of organic dye with TiO2 and the studies of TiO2 for improving photocatalysis properties are systemically summarized,then experimental studies were carried out on the laboratory scale in this article:nitrogen-doping studies,TiO2 doped with metal ions,solid-supported,photosensitization.According to harvest of discolored dye wastewater and photocatalytic degradation research the feasibility of dye wastewater's photocatalytic degradation,Optimizing the experiment condition and improving Photocatalysis Properties of Photo-catalysis,those made dye wastewater achieved National First-rate sewage draining level.This study has great significance to apply the technology of photo-catalysis to the industry of Nan Shan treat organic waste water.
