The separation of the chiral medicine is the important subject for research in the analytical chemistry, it is significant to study for pharmacy. Chiral separation by capillary electrophoresis(CE) is one of the most important subject in the analytical chemistry. The key of chiral separation lies in choosing the suitable chiral selector, it is the focal point in chiral separation that new chiral selector was developed and studied. The cyclodextrin (CD) and its derivative are the most commonly used chiral selector in CE.Natural cyclodextrin molecules have certain limitations in chiral separation because of the restrictions of its physical and chemical properties such as its bonding capacity and water-soluble.Therefore,the appropriate modified cyclodextrin can increase the chiral recognition characteristics.Full text is divided into three chapters, namely the introduction of the application of capillary electrophoresis separation in chiral drugs and the application of new cyclodextrin derivative in chiral separation.Chapter 1:Introduction of the basic theory of Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) and the application of capillary electrophoresis separation in chiral drugs.Chapter 2:Bis(6-O-butene diacid ester)-β-cyclodextrin has been synthesized according to the literature and it was used as a chiral additive of capillary zone electrophoresis for the enantiomeric separation of chlorpheniramine. The separation conditions were optimized through investigation of the effects of the concentration and pH of buffer, the concentration of chiral additive and the voltage. The chlorpheniramine enantiomers can be separated on baseline under the optimum conditions. The mechanism of the chiral recognition was explored.Chapter 3:We coating the Bis(6-O-butene diacid ester)-β-cyclodextrin to the capillary wall by sol-gel method and use it in the CE, Finally we separate the o,m,p-nitrophenol and a number of cephalosporins drug that similar in structure.
