Flavors and flavor material are indispensable material and product in modern social production and daily life, and its formulation is one of the core technologies in many enterprises which use or manufacture them. In current cigarettes production, aromatic techniques are a most important technology, and tobacco flavor is mixed by many natural perfumes and synthetic perfumes.So Research on the aroma components of natural perfumes and tobacco flavor may contribute to the formula's analysis and quality control of tobacco flavor. Hyphenated chromatographic instruments such as GC-MS and HPLC-DAD,combined with chemometric multi-resolution techniques and database technology make the analysis of formula possible. In this study, some natural perfumes and tobacco flavor would be investigated with different extraction method, and then analyzed by GC/MS and GC,after that, the different chemometric methods was used to investigate the fingerprint of tobacco flavor, the research methods for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) fingerprints are applied to quality control of tobacco flavor, and attempt to resolve the formula of complex tobacco flavor for the first time.In the introduction part of this paper, a review is given to the outline of the natural perfumes and tobacco flavor, and present satus of the development of perfumes and tobacco flavor, domestic and foreign tobacco flavors and fragrances comparative study of development trends are given,as well as the need for a through analysis of tobacco flavor.In the end tobacco flavors and fragrances of various pre-treatment methods were introduced in detail and comparison.In the chapter two,different extraction methods of analysis semi-volitle and volitle constitution were introduced.we choosed tobacco flavor 19#and 28# for analysis their semi-volitle and volitle constitution to different extraction methods.And information content and rate of the determination of fragrant components were used as the criterion for the optimization of the extraction method.In the end we explained the principle of volitle substance.In the chapter three, a database with more than 300 fingerprint of usual nature perfumes was created, data was collectied,analyed,imported and mixed flavors were made,the qualitative identification. And introduced the principle of a chemometric method named "Evolving Window Orthogonal projection resolution" which can be used to analysis the formula of tobacco flavor. After the analysis of usual flavors and flavor material,the formulation of the simulated tobacco flavor can be qualitatively determined by our Lab's "Tobacco flavor chemical component analysis, and blending perfume system".In the chapter four, systemal quantitative analysis methods were given to of flavors.the accuracy of area percent method and single internal standard method,multivariate calibration,pls,was compared..In the chapter five, Orthogonal projection algorithm based on moving window was used to analysis formula of five kinds tobacco flavor.
