ESP transform to bag filter can improve efficiency of ESP economy and effectively, so that dust emissions from coal-fired power plants to meet environmental standards. The service lifetime of the bags and excessive resistance, which are related to the air flow organization. In the design process of ESP to bag filter, optimum air flow organization by numerical simulation. It is one of the main technical means make sure that service lifetime of the bags and running resistance meet the standards.The paper taking three design projects the 300MW electricity reform bag filter in a coal-fired power plant as research object, analyzed and comparing the air flow organization of three transform design by numerical simulation. Air flow organization of one program is more reasonable. Air flow rate windward the bag and Flow deviation of filtration unit of gas volume meet the engineering design requirements. The deviation between the air flow organization within Option Two and design requirements is too large, ESP internal demolition, transformation is too large, can not meet the progress requirements. Ash bucket turbulence within Program three precipitator is severe. The fouling deflector, within it is easy arched and construction difficultly. Comparing the results under the three program, and consider manufacturing, site construction period, post-maintenance and other factors. According simulation results, in this paper, optimization air flow organization in proposed construction program by adjusting the air distribution plate, set the ash bucket windshield, renew the arrangement of bags and so on.ESP transform to bag filter since been put into operation, running in good condition, dust emission concentration is lower than 30mg/m3; running resistance is less than 1000Pa. The results is essentially consistent with the result of numerical modeling, which indicates that numerical simulation results can provide the basis for structural optimization design of ESP transform to bag filter...
