Motor Vehicle Testing Line Remote Monitoring And Fault Diagnosis System

Automobile testing system is a complex computer measurement and control system. It synthetically applies many advanced technologies, such as communications, electronics, automation, signal processing and computer, etc. Usually it is very difficult to deal with faults of the system due to its complicacy. So, the research of diagnosis technology for Automobile testing system becomes very important to the realization of steady, reliable and sequential running.Firstly, the actuality and background of remote monitor and fault diagnosis was presented. Then, this paper introduces a remote monitor and fault diagnosis system for automobile testing system based on Internet. It concerns the network structure, Real-time Data Transmission Technology based on Socket, COM techniques in Web Browser, the application of MIDAS in Multi-tier Distributed system. In succession, This system was established based on the analysis upwards.In the end it summarizes the research achievement of this paper and raises a new hypothesis for remote monitor and fault diagnosis system for automobile testing system based on Internet.
