The platform of ship motion simulating can simulate ship motions in surf, and can be used for training and medicine testing of withstanding sea sickness. It also can be used for testing various of instruments and equipments equiped in ships overland. Furthermore, making use of this platform, army can simulate the sea campaign overland in order to improve the effect of drilling and reduce the expenses. Therefore, developing this platform is very significant in reality to strengthen the fighting ability for crossing sea campaign. In this paper, according to the targets of the platform, we design its hydraulic drive system and computer control system. Owing to adopting electro-hydraulic proportional closed loop control, so the control accuracy is perfect. The results of elementary experiments indicate that the platform achieve the prearrange targets. The main research subjects in this paper are as follows:1. Firstly, determine the general functions of the hydraulic drive system , based on the targets of the platform. Then study out its circuit diagram. Finally, select the hydraulic components and design equipments of hydraulic drive system. Fix and adjust the practical system.2. Design the computer control system, select the control algorithm, and programing.3. Obtain the mathematics model of valve control cylinder drive system, study the static state characteristic of the system, as well.4. Establish virtual prototype of this platform by using ADAMS, analysis its kinematic and dynamic characteristics.
