This dissertation presents the principium and structure of an remote broadcast monitor, on the basis of utilize high-speed broadband amplifier to amplify the RF signal, uses high speed AD and sends the sample data into FPGA and DSP to calculate the relevant index data, then send the index data through RS232. The device mainly realizes functions as followings: monitoring, recording, data storage and alarm etc. of broadcasting signals. If the Monitoring Center tasks remotely, the relevant remote broadcast monitor will arrange different automatic task scheme according to different task type to realize the real-time monitor, record and index data storage of broadcasting signals. The remote broadcast monitor will have daily log to record the status and going. If the Monitoring Center tasks to return the index data, the remote broadcast monitor will return the local broadcasting signal data (the modulate degree, level, frequency offset etc.). If there is any abnormality, the remote broadcast monitor will startups the exception handles to alarm. The Monitoring Center monitors the local broadcasting signals where a remote broadcast monitor is setting in real time.The presented design is obviously superior to the traditional scheme that is measuring the AGC after a whole band radio harmonizes to the frequency point, then get the index data after linear revision. Comparing with the scheme that the spectrum device with digital interface monitors the radio signal directly, the design has better performance on cast simultaneously. Especially the great simplification of calculating unit circuit fully embodies the development tendency of digitization and modularization. The designed remote broadcast monitor system is high accurate, stable, efficiency, credible, intelligent and with broad dynamic scope. The design, which has high practical value and directive significance, is already applied to the long-range monitoring project of State Bureau of Radio, Film and Television.
