Power industry is a key part of our national economy. Power generating system consists of thermal power plants, hydraulic power plants, nuclear power plants, wind power plants, tide power plants and solar power plants, etc. And in china, the power generating system mainly consists of thermal power plants and hydraulic power plants. Today, hydraulic power capacity is about over 20% of the total power generating capacity. Evidently, hydraulic power becomes an important part of our power industry also due to its environment protection and energy save characteristics.The producing process of hydraulic power is very simple. The hydraulic generator is of quick start and stop, easily operating and quick load regulation. Hydraulic power plants totally rely on the water flow in the main dam, especially in the dry seasons, the load of power generator should be changed frequently due to the variation of water flow. Load regulation is one of the most frequent operations of hydraulic power generator.Load regulating of power generator is always finished through the regulating to the regulator. To most medium and small hydraulic power plants, common PID controller is commonly used. Load sudden change, unstable of power generator occurs frequently according to such regulating methods, it is not only harm to the life of generator, but also to the stable of power grid and power quality.This article based on these analysis, a fuzzy PID controller is added to generator control program to improve the performance of PID controller, and the generator will achieve good stable and dynamic performances. Main task of this research is to design the fuzzy PID controller, and realize it in PLC control program. Computer supervision control system for hydraulic power plant, design and programming of fuzzy PID controller is concretely described in this article.The research achievement and meanings, still leaving questions in later producing process, and develop orientation is concretely summarized in the end of this article.
