In recent years, people have been focusing on the Airborne Passive Phased Array Radar Antenna because of their large role in distance. Therefore, the most attention is paied to the performance of the ferrite phased shifter used for the phased array antenna. The research of microwave ferrite material is very important.The microwave lithium ferrite indicates that a good low-loss and low-stress sensitivity behavior were prepared by the conventional oxide ceramic method, and the ferrite phased shifters were prepared also. It exactly meets the technical requiments of Airborne Radar Antenna.The results show that Mn can effectively reduce the dielectric loss tgδe , and decrease the saturation magnetization 4πMs. An optimal amount of Mn is beneficial to decrease the sensitivity for stresses. The material were sintered at 1000℃~1020℃because low-melting-ions in lithium ferrite volatilizes fast under high sintering temperature.In this thesis work, we have completed the basic formula design, process development, debugging and testing. As a result of experiment, it is a good material.
