| The study on safety of traditional Chinese medicine injections is one of the hot issues in the domestic pharmaceutical industry. From the study and analysis on the quality standard of current traditional Chinese medicine injections, there are a number of issues that need to be resolved. We consider that there are three outstanding points as follows: One is to improve the quality of traditional Chinese medicine injections, so that the measured ingredients are achieved to 80 percent compared to previous 25 percent.Thus it is beneficial to quality control.The second is to improve the inspection of safety of injections, then make it facility and more specific. The third is to detect the medical subsidiary substances in traditional Chinese medicine injections and inspect the contents of impurities.On the basis of current status of traditional Chinese medicine injections,we designed four research fields after consulting literatures available.At present ,eighty percent of the solid ingredients should be mesured in traditional Chinese medicine compound injections.And it must be detected by such accurate quantitative methods as HPLC and /or GC.To H3 injection as an example,the sugar,amino acid and peptide component were analysed in traditional Chinese medicine injections. Against on the allergic reactions of traditional Chinese medicine injections,we analysed and compared the two methods between the heat source inspection and the bacterial endotoxin.
