The thesis takes one of the most powerful Chinese contemporary Piano Concerto Enter a New Era as the illustrated case. By trying to analyse in depth its literary review and the symbols of musical phenomenon, the thesis interprets Piano Concerto Enter a New Era from multiple perspectives, seeing through the appearance to the essence to discover its potential meaning or acquire new significance. Just based on such consideration, the author merged personal opinion and thinking factors in the process of interpreting the meaning of Piano Concerto Enter a New Era, expecting to uncover the social values and actual meaning and in the end making effect to the playing process of my own. When performing the music, the player made the techniques achieve mastery, at the same time, making minds merge into the soul of music. After studying the essence of music and musical works, it is not difficult to find that music belongs to the category of human culture. If the author wants to uncover the secrets of music, he must reduce music into the field of social culture. Therefore, the thesis adopts synthesized studying method from many points of view and many subjects. The thesis places the study of concerto "Enter a new Era" in a wider cultural background by trying to break the original limited study model and ideas, and use the theory achieve ment of literary, social, politic and other subjects intergratively to explain the music work deeply, which affords a reference text for the performers playing the work, rather than just confines to the limitation of the surface of the score.It is worth mentioning the "Entre a New Era" is different from the concerto of the same western themes whether in themes creating, forms and approaches. It permeates the era characteristics of China here and there. The writer illustrates the work and concentrates on the main points by grasping the merging of western and Chinese music characteristics that the work permeates in all aspects so as to analise the classical work better which is the most presentative of Chinese comtemporary concerto.
