The application of core stability training is becoming more and more popular, and it has been accepted by most of the coaches and athletes. But nowadays, there aren' t many researches on the effects of core stability training on high-level athletes. The aim of this paper is arguing the effects of core stability training on excellent artistic gymnast' s dynamic balance and trunk muscular strength, analysizing the function of the core stability training in enhancing the motor skills and in the prevention of sports injuries. And at the same time systematically discuss the program of artistic gymnast' s core stability training. The author aims to provide the reference for the farther application of the core stability training in high- level sports team in the future.This paper takes 12 national artistic gymnasts as the research subject, the team event athletes is divided in the experimental group, and the individual event is in the comparative group. On the basis of daily traing, the experimental group is added 24 weeks' systematic core stability traing, twice a week, 15 minutes each time. The comparative group keep the common training. In the week that before and after the experiment , seperately do the examination of dynamic balance and trunk muscular strength of their left feet. The experiment results are processed statistically by the method of SPSS13.0.The results: 1,the training of core stability can greatly improve the dynamic balance ablity of excellent artistic gymnasts' left feet. The cxperimental group' s complete stability index and Anterior/Posterior SI,APSI decreses remarkably(P<0.05). There is the tendency of the decrease of medial and lateral index, but there aren' t systematic differences. 2,the training of core stability training can greatly strengthen the function of gymnasts' truck muscular strength. The experimental group trunk muscular' s peak torque,peak torque of the average curve,total work and average power are all developed. ( P< 0. 05), the raising ratio is higher than the comparative group, but there is no great change. 3, the core stability training can improve the truck balance function of the excellent artistic gymnasts. The experimental group' s flexion to extension is decreased greatly, and the flextion muscular are raised.The conclusion: the core stability training can enhance the balance ability of athlete's single foot, increase the truck muscular strength's function and improve the stability of truck. The program of the core stability training is effective , the core stability training is a modern pwc training method that can prevent sport injuries.
