| Purpose:With carding the scriptures of lung disease and analysis of main disease name content and evolution in the Yellow Emperor Inner Canon, this paper provides the literature support in the terms of Chinese medical names and its standardization.Method:This article focus on the methods of studying the documents to find the traceability origin and debate the evolution of the names of lung disease in Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor t.Content:1. Collecting comprehensive information about lung disease in physiologic, pathology and symptom, definite the naming factor.2. Combined with the files before the Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor, especially, analyze and settle texts about the names of lung disease to find the traceability origin.3. Analysis and discuss the meaning and application of typical disease names.Conclusion:1. The lung system in the Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor is made up of physiological function, six viscera, configuration, the orifices,, soul, body fluid and Meridian.2.
