| Objective: The clinical effect and the mechanism of KJN capsule in treating Ulcerative colitis(UC) due to accumulation of damp-heat in the intestine is observed. Methods: 30 patients treated with KJN comparing with 15 patients treated with SASP separated in random then recorded weekly for total 8 weeks. The results showed that: ①.the total healing and the effective rate are 33%,87%.②KJN have the effect of decreasing the increased SIgA levels in the stool of the patients. ③KJN have the effect of decreasing the RBC immune complex rate and increasing the RBC C3b receptor rate of the patients.④KJN have the effect of increasing CD8+ and decreasing CD3+,CD4+contents and CD4+/CD8-ratio in the peripheral blood of the patients. ⑤KJN have the effect of decreasing the content both of a-granule membrane glycoprotein(CD62p) in platelets and TXA2 in plasma of the patients. It is concluded that ION capsule is effective on clinical,it may be lies in its effect on regulating the intestinal flora, immune system and improving inflammation in the patients, it deserves further research. |
