Objective: To research into the difference of HP between stomach and oral cavity, to explore whether the oral cavity is an important reservoir of HP and to investigate whether the oral-to-oral routine is an main routine in the transmission of HP which reside in stomach.Methads: Fifty adult chrouic gastritis or duodenal ulcer patients who underwent gaseroscopy were randomly selected. The gastric mucous membrane were taker from the lesion site of these patients, and at the same time the dental plaque were taken from molars. The presence of Helicobacter pylori in plaque and mucous were soughot by the rapid nrease test. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and culture. At last, The positive results were recorded and the data were dealed by stastic analysis. Results: In group of gastric mucous,HP test was positive in 31. In group of dental plaque,HP test was pesitive in 26. The data was dealed by statistic analysis. And the result shows the difference of HP between gastric mucous and dental plaque hasn't signifiant in statistics. Conclusions: the results show that the difference of distribution betweenstomach and oral cavity hasn't significant in statistics. It suggest the distribution has on difference between stomach and oral carity, It also means the oral cavity may be an important reservoir of HP...
