In order to reveal the regulating function of the different compatibility of ingredients of Xiao Chai Hu Decoction to the immunity system in cellular level, the experiment was developed. CY was used to duplicate the mice model of immunosuppression. TLH was used as control group of western medicine. According to two different proportions groups (A was Xiao Chai Hu Decoction, B was Plus-minus prescription of Xiao Chai Hu Decoction), the swallowing test of macrophage, lymphocyte transformative rate, influence on T lymphocyte subset and the content of Interleukin-2 in blood serum were measured. The result showed that A, B and TLH could increase the ratio of lymphocyte transformation (P<0.05), and B was the best one in the three groups. A, B and TLH can increase the ratio of Macrophage swallow (P<0.05), and B was the best one in the three groups. A, B and TLH returned CD3^ CD4> CD4/CD8to normal (P<0.05). A, B and TLH could reduce the rise of CD8 subset caused by CY. B and TLH could return the ratio of CD4/CD8 to normal, and A couldn't achieve it(P<0.05). A, B and TLH all enhanced the content of IL-2(P<0.05), but the results of B was more appearent than those of TLH and A. Our data suggests that CY has obvious inhibitory effect on cellular immunity. Traditional Chinese Medicine and western medicine can improve the low function of immunity caused by CY, but the degree are in varying. Xiao Chai Hu Decoction (B) is the best in total results.
