Han Population Of Shanxi Region Polymorphism Of Hla Alleles

Objective To investigate the gene polymorphism of HLA-A,B,DRB1 locus's and features of Han population in Shanxi province and to establish HLA typing data base of Shanxi province.Methods PCR-SSP typing results of HLA-A,B,DRB1 alleles of 7440 bone marrow donor in Shan Xi province were compared to those in Caucasians ,African-Americans,Japanese,population in Tai Wan and Han population in Shandong province . Results In Shanxi province ,HLA- A*02(32.76%) allele presented the highest frequency, followed by A*24(16.29%),A*11(15.97%),A*01(6.26%),A*03(6.04%);HLA- B*13(9.98%)allele presented the highest frequency, followed by B*51(8.81%),B*15(62)(8.07%),B*40(61)(7.33%),B*35(6.01%)and HLA-DRB1*15(16.18%)allele presented the highest frequency, followed by DRB1*09(12.04%),DRB1*12(11.90%),DRB1*04(11.06%),DRB1*07(10.05%).In Shanxi province, the frequencies of A*24 and A*11,B*13 and B*51,DRB1*09 and DRB1*12 alleles were significantly higher than in Caucasians while the frequencies of A*01 and A*03, B*07 and B*08,DRB1*03 and DRB1* 01 significantly lower than those in Caucasians. The frequencies of A*24 and A*11,B*13 and B*51 alleles were significantly higher than in Africa-Americans while the frequencies of A*23 and A*30, B*42 and B*53 significantly lower than those in Africa-Americans .The frequencies of A*01 and A*03,B*13 and B*37 higher than in Japan while the frequencies of A*24 and A*26,B*52 and B*54 lower than those in Japan. The frequencies of A*01and A*03,B*37and B*44 higher than in Taiwan while the frequencies of A*11and A*33, B*46 and B*40(60)lower than those in Taiwan. As compared with that of the Han population in Shan Dong, there was no significantly difference except a decrease in frequencies of A*30 and B*13 alleles. It's more important, three new HLA-B alleles were detected in Shan xi potential bone marrow donors. Molecular cloning and sequencing is using to identify the new allelesConclusions Distribution of the allele polymorphism of HLA-A B DRB1 locus was similar to those in Northern Han population . It was obviously different from those in Caucasians and African-Americans. It was different from those in Japan and in Tai wan of china.
