Shengmai Clinical Studies Of The Injection And Salvia Miltiorrhiza Injection In The Treatment Of Angina Pectoris

ObjectiveCoronary heart disease ( CHD ) is the main menace of the human being for its high incidence and high mortality rate, which is caused by atherosclerotic. According to a new discovery that with the increasing of the age the incidence of CHD is also increased. It is concluded by the same discovery that every 10 years' increase of the age can cause to more than one time's incidence of the CHD from 40 years old and the probability of myocardial infarction is rising too.Nowadays the CHD is equal to the norm of Xiongbi in the Chinese Traditional Medicine (CTM). More and more doctors and researchers about the CTM do their work in the pathogeny , pathogenesis and its treatments. My teacher, Doctor Zhang Daoliang has applied himself to the treatment and prevention of CHD for many years. Under the coach of my teacher, we have used the Shenmai injection and the Danshen injection to treat the patients who was suffering from the CHD. MethodsWe choose 70 people who have ever been a patient in our affiliated hospital of Hubei Chinese Medical University during the time from the February, 2003 to the Mar of 2005 as the object of the study. According to the naming and standard of the CHD published by the WHO in 1979and the naming standard of CTM published by the association of Chinese medical in 1997 we classified the patients into two group as Treated group and Control B. We used general medicine to treat the patient in Control B and used TCM as an additional treatment on the base of general medicine to the patients of Treated A. At last, we use the soft of SPSS to deal with the data of the study. Results1, According to the results of the statistics, we can see that, there have no differences between the two Groups about the commonly statues Including the total patients, ages, genders and symptoms.2, On the improvement of the symptoms of angina, it also showed that the totaleffective rate of the Treated Group is 91.67 % and 85.3 % of the Control Group. The difference between them is not statistically significant (P>0.05). But the significant effect of the Treated Group is much higher than the Control Group and the difference between them is statistically significant (P<0.05).3, On the improvement of the EKG, it showed that the total effective rate of the Treated Group is 91.67 % and 70.59 % of the Control Group. The difference between them is statistically significant (P<0.05). The significant effect of the Treated Group is much higher than the Control Group and the difference between them is statistically significant (P<0.05).4, On the improvement of the blood-fat and the hemorheology the effects after treatment of the Treated Group are much better than before, and the The difference between them is statistically significant (P<0.05).It suggest that Control Group has a better effect in improving the survive statues and reliveving the occurrence of miocardial infarction than the Treated Group. ConclusionTo treat the CHD , used TCM as an additional treatment on the base of general medicine to the patients is much better than simply treated them with general medicine. We should use more TCM to cure the patients who were suffering from the CHD.
