Spinal Function X-ray Computer Aided Diagnosis System is application and development of the medicine image post-processing technology on orthopaedics medical diagnosis field. With the process of spinal functional disease diagnosis and therapy importing western medicine orthopaedics theory, it will be advantage of improving efficiency and objectivity to using computer information technology to aid diagnosis, and it can provide basis for next treatment. The Objective of this paper's researching is that searching and establishing a set of science, standard and feasible operation applied in the aided diagnosis process and develop this software system by making use of computer digital image processing technology and relative theory.In the process of obtaining the medicine diagnosis character of spine centrum, the approach of image pre-processing and detecting the geometry character of centrum has been taken. In the pre-processing step, display position will be adjusted by man-machine conversation, median filter clears image noise, edge pre-detection by Sobel operator, and locating and get the geometry center of centrum by tracking the gray scale change; in the next processing, a method is presented, which makes radio of length and width of inscribed centrum distinguishing different ethnic group, gender, and age illness's characters, and make it parameter of centrum rectangle. Radial searching and fuzzy discriminance are used to make detect and determinant the geometry edge of centrum.In the process of developing the software system, subsystem modules, Object Oriented Design (OOD) and Object Oriented Programming (OOP) are used, several processing steps and relative functions distributing several subsystem are encapsulated by COM technology. The DICOM interface implemented in image capturing and transfer process can facilitate the communication between this system and other medicine image equipment or medicine information; According to the variety of process implement, design pattern has been used in software frame design, especially strategy pattern has used in edge detect arithmetic programming design; The XML technology is used in saving the result of diagnosis, which can facilitate data exchange among different software system.Finally the spine centrum between No. 4 and No. 6 have been tested by this system, and the outcome is well.
