Coronary Heart Disease Syndromes And Coronary Angiography Study

Coronary heart disease(CHD) is a type of cardiopathy that depends on atherogenesis of coronary artery and that induces the ischemia and anoxia of cardiac muscle. CHD is a familiar and duofa disease. Nowadays, the incidence of CHD increases quickly. So how to prevent and cure CHD is an important study in medicine field. Coronary arteriography(CAG) is the golden criteria on CHD diagnoses, which affords credible and objective gist for clinical research of prevention and cure CHD on traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) and western medicine. In the part of clinical research we investigate the TCM syndrome of CHD, the result of CAG, and the relativity between them, and try to find some gists to prevention and cure of CHD on TCM and western medicine. We collect 102 patients in Dongfang Hospital and China-Japanese Friendship Hospital who have been examined by CAG. They are divided into nine clinical common types of syndrome according to the coated tongue and pulse tracings and clinical manifestation. At the same time we noted their common status, including gender, age, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. After CAG, the patients whose diagnoses are consistent with strict diagnostic criteria of CHD(i.e diagnosed as a CHD on the basis of the result of CAG or having the case history of myocardial infarction (MI)). Then we analyze the relativity between the result of CAG and the TCM syndrome of CHD by statistical method. The statistical analysis shows that the two most common syndromes are the syndrome of blood stasis and the syndrome of deficiency of vital energy, the syndrome of sputum and the syndrome of deficiency of YANG are also common syndromes. The fatalness of suffering from CHD in the syndrome of blood stasis, the syndrome of deficiency of vital energy and the syndrome of deficiency of vital energy and blood stasis are higher than the syndrome not with blood stasis, the syndrome not with deficiency of vital energy and the syndrome not with deficiency of vital energy and blood stasis, which have gained statistic significance(P<0.05). The type of pathological changes of coronary artery almost are complex branch pathological changes in the syndrome of deficiency of vital energy and the syndrome of deficiency of vital energy and blood stasis. The damaged degree of coronary artery in the syndrome of deficiency of vital energy and the syndrome of deficiency of vital energy and blood stasis are much severer than the syndrome not with deficiency of vital energy and the syndrome not with deficiency of vital energy and blood stasis, which has gained statistic significance(P<0.01). Age,smoking,TG are the dangerous factors of CHD. In a word, the study shows that there is some correlation between the TCM syndrome of CHD and the result of CAG. The syndrome of deficiency of vital energy and the syndrome of blood stasis are the primary syndromes of CHD; deficiency of vital energy and blood stasis are the basic pathogenesis of CHD, and they are the leading pathological factors to atherogenesis of coronary artery. On the other hand, deficiency of vital energy exists through the whole course of CHD, and it is an important factor on the occurrence and evolution of CHD. Deficiency of vital energy also affects the damaged degree of coronary artery. Some gists to the prevention and cure of CHD on TCM and western medicine are also presented among this clinical research.
