Objective To investigation the therapeutic effects of Jie chang ping capsule on ulcerative colitis in rats and mice.Methods Acetic acid, 2, 4-dinitrochlorobenzol and the ethanoic acid were given so as to replicate the animal model of acute ulceratine colitis and chronic ulcerativa colitis in rats. The content of LPO was measured and the average optical density (AOD), integrated optical density(IOD), grey level (GL) were observed through imaga analysis system .The inhibitory effects on rat's in vivo activity was researched. The inflammation swelling of auricle in mouse induced by xylem and the forming of cotton ball granulation tumor in mouse were adopted to observed anti- inflammation.the hot plates analgesia and the stretching analgesia experiment of mouse were used to observe the analgesia effect. Many other related experiments also be down.Results The main pharmacodynami Jie chang ping experiment manifested that Jie chang ping capsule has the following six important effect: first, the remarkable therapeutical effect on rat' s acute ulcerativa colitis . Second it could suppresses the production of tunica mucosa coli' s LPO .Third, the effect of suppressing the intestines mobilization, it could suppress small bowel peristalsis drive, suppress in vivo colon activity of normal rat,suppress rat' s in vivo colon hyperactivity induced by ACH, educe curative effect of checking diarrhea and analgesic effect. Fourth, the anti- inflammation function. it has has remarkable inhibitory function to acute exudative inflammation and chronic roliferative inflammation.Fifth, the analgesia effect. Analgesia experiment of hot plates and stretching confirmed that it has the analgesia effect , alleviates abdominal pain caused by ulcerativa colitis .Sixth, it could shorten the hemorrhages time and clotting time of mouse, educe therapeutical effect on bleeding symptom caused by ulcerativa colitis.
