| Objective An investigation was conducted in order to study the clinical effect of the total knee arthroplasty on the patients with terminal serious Osteoarthritis .Method Co-Cr-Mo IB- II prothesis were used in total knee arthroplasty which performed on 24 patients with terminal serious Osteoarthritis.There were 13 unilateral TKAs on 13patients,and 11 bilateral TKAs on 11 patients. After the operation, to live the blood and decrease swell we leave the patients to drink the Chinese herbal medicine liquid. To grade the knee joint before the operation and after the operation.Then follow up the patients for two months to three years. Result The average score of knee joint and function before the operation are 22.84 ± 6.06 and 12.86 ± 16.09 .The average score of knee joint and function 2 weeks after the operation are 70.16±2.71 and 58.10±8.14 . Conclusion The total knee arthroplasty can significantly correct the abnormity and relief the pain of the kenee joint .It can also improve the knee joint's ROM and function of the terminal serious Osteoarthritis patients. |
