Purpose: To explore the relevance between the types of syndrome of thetraditional Chinese medicine and the Western medicine clinical classifications and the pathological types of kidney disease in children's Henoch-Schonlein purpura nephritis.Methods: Through the clinical observation of 37 cases ofHenoch-Schonlein purpura nephritis, according to the "Zidian" type standards of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the type standards commonly used in the paediatrics of the Chinese medicine hospital of Jiangsu Province, establish the HSPN type standards of the traditional Chinese medicine and the Western medicine clinical classifications, through the kidney biopsy identify the pathological and immunopathological types, use the statistical methods to analysis the relevance between them.Results:1, The differences of the frequency distributions of the Western medicine clinical classifications into the traditional Chinese medicine have a notable statistical significance.2, The differences of the frequency distributions of the Western pathological and immunopathological types into the traditional Chinese medicine have no statistical significance.Conclusion: The types of syndrome of the traditional Chinese medicineand the clinical classifications have a certain relevance, but both types of kidney pathology and the types of syndrome of the traditional Chinese medicine don't have obvious relevance.
