As the rhythm of modern life speeds up and life mode changes, the attack rate of Cervical Spondylosis grows up year after year and the trend of Cervical Spondylosis patients'age is younger. Cervical Spondylosis, which is internationally agreed as the inter-vertebral disk retrogressive change, and signs and symptoms of spinal cord, nerves, and blood vessels damage due to secondary inter-vertebral disk retrogressive change. Clinically, Cervical Spondylosis is categorized as radiculopathic type, vertebroarterial type, myelopathic type, and cervical sympathetic, and otherwise, the radiculopathic type has the highest attack rate, which covers 60% of Cervical Spondylosis, and commonly signifies other types of Cervical Spondylosis. This paper reviewed and analyzed relative literature, systematically summarized cognition and therapy on radiculopathic type Cervical Spondylosis of traditional Chinese medicine and modern medicine, put forward acu-therapy project on Cervical Spondylosis (radiculopathic type), which taking the He's acupuncture-moxibustion three removing obstruction methods as the main means, to approach the clinical value of this therapy.According to requirements of prospective study, this research performed randomized controlled study on 52 patients of Cervical Spondylosis (radiculopathic type). All the patients were selected with standard diagnostic code, exclusion rule, inclusion rule. Exper- imental group (26 patients) were served with He's acupuncture-moxibustion three removing obstruction methods, while the control group (26 patients) were given only oral drugs. Every ten times was a course of treatment. Before and after the trial, clinical therapeutic effect was compared, comprehension evaluation of the cervical Spondylosis was performed, pain released degree was checked with Visual analogue scale (VAS), and the condition of hemorheology was examined. Results show that:1. Cured rate of experimental group is 57.7%, obvious effective rate is 88.5%, better than 27%,46.2% of the control group (P<0.05), after treatment, the symptoms get improvements, the improvement degree of neck and shoulder melalgia, neck and nape stiffness, upper acroaesthesia, the experimental group is better than control group (P<0.01 or P<0.05).2. Comprehension evaluation of the cervical Spondylosis, the experimental group is obviously better than the control group (P<0.01) that means the acu-therapy group has better curative effects than the control group at the pain killing, signs and symptoms improving.3. Changes of hemorheology in patients of both groups, the high shear whole blood viscosity, the middle sheer and the low shear whole blood viscosity (BV), plasma viscosity (PV), volume of packed red blood cells (VPRBC) of treatment group all descend obviously, with obvious statistical treatment difference (P<0.01, P<0.05), the high sheer whole blood viscosity (BV), plasma viscosity (PV) of control group all descend obviously (P<0.05). Comparison of the experiment and control groups after treatment shows obvious difference of the high shear whole blood viscosity and the low shear whole blood viscosity (BV), other indexes shows no differences. The erythrocyte aggregation index and blood sedimentation show no obvious changes in both groups after treatment (P>0.05).4. Acupuncture is able to improve patients'clinical symptoms by mechanisms as follow:(1)Releasing the muscular tension of neck and nape(2)Helping cervical vertebra dynamic balance to recover(3)Improving quota of the hemorheology Conclusion: The He's acupuncture-moxibustion three removing obstruction methods therapy of Cervical Spondylosis (radiculopathic type), comparing with the Chinese herbs treatment, has advantages as follow: safe, effective, convenient, effecting-quickly and economic, that characterizes this therapy's clinical generalization value.
