Objective To approach correlation factors about death of stroke-patient so as to provide evidences preventing and controlling stroke occurrence,to lower efficiently case fatality rate and mutilation rate of stroke. Methods To collect stroke-patient's conditions in hospital from 1990 to 2005 in Department of nerve, first clinical medical college,Shanxi medical university. Stroke-patients were diagnosed according to classification of cerebrovascular diseases and diagnostic criteria in the fourth occasion national cerebrovascular disease conference in 1995,and were finally diagnosed through CT or MRI of head. The cases of death group and control group were 213 respectively. We need record important factors data of influencing death of stroke using unify designing questionnaire, especially record data detailedly and establish corresponding database in age, sexuality, onset time, visit time, time of therapy, admission time, conscious disturbance, past history of illness, blood pressure and blood glucose on admission, complication, diseased region, number of stroke focus, neurologic impairment, therapy, and so on.the collecting data was analyzed with t-test,X2-check,Fisher's exact probability and condition logistic regression analysis, and carried out single-factor analysis and multiplicity。Results 1,Single-factor analysis showed:There was statistics significance for 14 factors inducing stroke death(P≤0.05),these factors included systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, visit time, final diagnosis time, admission time, time of initiation therapy, admission score, diseased region, diabetes, heart disease history, renopathy, complication, conscious disturbance, electrocardiographic abnormality,et al.These factors were led in logistic regression analysis, there were 7 influencing factors being put into logistic model: time on admission, admission score, electrocardiographic abnormality, complication, conscious disturbance and renopathy history.Among these factors, admission time's OR value was under 1,and its 95%confidence interval was out of including 1(0.602~0.981).The factor was protective, while other factors of OR value > 1 were Risk factors inducing stroke-death.2,With the same method, there were statistical analysis and got consequence for cerebral arterial thrombosis and hemorrhagic apoplexy in death group and control group.(1)For cerebral arterial thrombosis,4 factors:number of stroke focus, hospital admission score, electrocardiographic abnormality, complication put into logistic regression model.Among these,OR value of number about stroke focus was under 1,which was protective.Other factors were risk factors inducing stroke-death.(2)For hemorrhagic apoplexy,5 factors of OR value of >1:conscious disturbance, complication, admission score, diseased region, diabetes were put into logistic regression model, which were risk factors influencing prognosis of hemorrhagic apoplexy. Conclusions In all factors inducing stroke death, these factors including conscious state, admission time, complication, diabetes, renopathy, admission score, electrocardiogram were more important. For hemorrhagic apoplexy patient, death was closely related with conscious state, complication, admission score, diseased region, diabetes. For cerebral arterial thrombosis, death was closely related with complication, electrocardiographic abnormality, admission score and number of stroke focus.
