| Objective:To study the expression of TSLP and the influence of immunology cytokine in nasal polyps(NP)and their role in the pathogenesis of nasal polyp.Methods:The specimens from 30 nasal polyps and 25 normal control cases were studied by RT-PCR methods for the expression of TSLP.The specimens were also studied by ELISE methods for the production of IL-4,5,IFN-γin these nasal polyps and normal control cases.At last,distribution condition of TSLP and correlated cytokine in the disease cases and normal control cases were analyzed by t testing,correlativity between TSLP and IL-4,5,IFN-γwere analyzed by calculating Pearson coefficient.Results:There is significant difference of the TSLP--mRNA average expression between nasal polyps cases and normal control cases(P<0.05).The TSLP--mRNA expressd high in the nasal polypscases tissue,it expressd in normal concha nasalis inferior mucos a tiss-ue,the TSLP-mRNA expression in disease cases was 1.5 times in control case s.The production of IL-4,5 was significantly higher in nasal polyps cases than contro 1 cases(P<0.05).The production of IFN-γwas significantly lower in nasal polyps than control cases(P<0.05).There was positive correlation between TSLP and IL-4,5.There was negative correlation beween TSLP and IFN-γ((P<0.05).Conclusion:TSLP-mRNA of expression was higher in nasal polyps cases than control cases.TSLP encourage T cell differentiate into Th2 cell and IL-4,5 is steped up and IFN-γis steped down.Th2 cytokine encourage formation of nasal polyps.TSLP might play a key role in the pathogenesis of nasal polyps by inducing T helper cell into Th2 cells. |
