Xiaxi Oral Liquid Experiments In Spontaneously Hypertensive Rats Blood Pressure And Insulin Resistance

Objective: To observe the effects of XiaXiprescription on blood pressure , Insulin Resistance of spontaneously hypertensive rats.Methods: Fifty spontaneously hypertensive rats were divided equally to low,medium and high groups of XiaXi prescription, captopril group, blank control group, and 10 WKY rats as. control group, named WKY group. Determined the blood pressure before the experiment and after four,eight weeks with BP—6 no—cut animal blood pressure system. FPG,FINS,ISI were observed after two months.Results: After eight weeks , blood pressure of WKY group was almost unchanged, the degree of the improvement of blood pressure in captopril group was much better than low and medium groups, they had great disparity(P<0.05); After eight weeks , compare with blank control group, captopril group,mediumand high groups of XiaXi prescription can reduce the FPG(P<0.05), FINS (the two formerand P<0.01, the latter P<0.05) , improve ISI (the two formerand P<0.01, the latter P<0.05) significantly. The disparity between the captopril group and high and medium groups was not manifestoConclusions : Xiaxi prescription can reduce hypertension evidently. Its mechanism may be related to improve Insulin Resistanceand , it is worth considering as a promising Chinese material medical for the treatment of hypertension.
