Objective To investinate the efficacy of acupuncture by punctures the blood therapy for the treatment of vasecular headache.Methods Sixty cases of vasecular headache patients were randomly divided into a treatment group treated by punctures the blood therapy and a control group treated by taking nimodipine pills. Their therapeutic effects were observed, and the changes of Ache degree, Headache index, Ache duration, and the records points of Chinese medicine and the clinical symptom, were determined before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate for vasecular headache patients in the two groups were 93.33%, 76.67% (P<0. 05), but the treatment group was superior to the control group.The results show that: the effective rate of Punctures the blood therapy group was 93. 33%, the therapeutic effect in the treatment group was better than in control group 70%, with a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0. 01). Compared with the changes of Ache degree, Headache index, Ache duration, and the records points of Chinese medicine and the clinical symptom, which gained before and after treatment, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion the Punctures the blood therapy had a definite therapeutic effect on vasecular headache.
