| Object: This research deals with quantitative measurements of the shape and the relative position of zygomatic bone of Heilongjiang Provincial adult female and establishes the correlated measured datas,the anatomic forms of zygomatic are determined.To provide datas for clinical reduction of prominent malar complex and to provide reference for anthropology research.Methods: (1).To observe un-measuring character of zygomatic complex,using the methods of anthropology to observe anatomic form of zygomatic bone,zygomatic forament,zygomatic tubercle,upper margin of zygoma,superior cornua at the frontal process of the zygomata and the inferior cornua at the frontal process of the zygomata on adult female cranial bones.(2)To survey zygomatic complex:to quantitive analysis zygoma,zygomatic arch and the position relation with amphi-skeleton,then doing the statistical analysis,dealing with consequence and establishing the correlated measured datas.Results:(1)Malar is the prominent part and appearance feature of face,consists of a rhombic bone body and 4 processuses.(2) The quantity of 1-2 zygomatic foramens coming forth on the specimens constitutes the majority.(3) The occurrence rate of zygomatic tubercle is 80%, Zygomatic process is situated at the 1/3 juncture of the zygomatic lower middle section. The zygomatic thickness at the location of the zygomatic process point: It's (6.68±1.64)mm on the left side and (6.77±1.43)mm on the right side respectively: The thickness is free from significant difference between the left and the right (P﹥0.05). (4) Most of the upper margin of zygoma assumes the morphology of straight line.(5) Most of the superior cornua and inferior cornua at the frontal process of the zygomata assume obtuse angle.(6) The distance of the infraorbital foramen to the ipsilateral infraorbital margin is (8.33±1.48)mm on the left side and (7.77±1.56)mm on the right respectively; The distance of the infraorbital foramen to cranial median line is (25.01±1.32)mm on the left side and (25.20±1.07)mm on the right respectively. The distance is also free from significant difference between the left and the right (P﹥0.05).(7) The distance of zygomatic frontal process to exo-superior cornu is (42.57±5.8)mm on the left side and (43.02±6.4)mm on the right, and the thickness of the anterior wall is (0.50±0.03)mm on the left side and (0.49±0.05)mm on the right respectively. Both of the distance and thickness on both sides are free from significant difference (P﹥0.05).(8)The length of zygomatic arch and processus temporalis ossis zygomatici are separately (28.67±5.09)mm,(17.99±3.23)mm on the left side and (30.37±11.14)mm,(20.37±5.54)mm on the right side. There is not significant difference between the left and the right side (P>0.05).Conclusion: The result can be used as a guide in the reduction malarplasty,to provide anatomical basis for reduction malarplasty. |
