Health Education Community Parents Of Children With The Use Of Antibiotics

Objective This study is aimed to identify level of parent's knowledge and attitude about using antibiotic for children; to identify action of parent about using antibiotic; To compare the level of parent's knowledge and attitude about using antibiotic between before and after health education; To compare action of parent about using antibiotic before and after health education.Methods This study is quasi-experimental design. 70 parents with common characteristics in two communities(jingyuan district and xiwang district) were divided into 2 groups(intervention group and control group) randomly, and there are 35parents in each group. parents in the two groups were only given The simple oral communication and teaches to report the publicity with plank by the staff nurses, but the parents in the intervention group were given individual education and collection education by researcher. All the subjects were measured by questionnaire devised by oneself.Result 1. there is a low level(5.66±2.13) of parent's knowledge about using antibiotic before health education. After health education there is a high level in intervention group(12.09±1.22), but even a low level in the control group(5.98±1.98), and there is a significant difference between two groups P＜0.05. 2. there is a low level(22.09±2.98)of parent's attitude about using antibiotic before health education. After health education there is a medium level in intervention group (38.18±2.15), but even a low level in the control group(21.14±1.98), and there is a significant difference between two groups P＜0.05.3. parent's behavior about using antibiotic is incorrect(19.12±2.33)before health education. After health education the behavior is righter(42.06±1.28), but even being incorrect in the control group(19.93±2.50), and there is a significant difference between two groups P＜0.05.Conclusion health education could effectively and directly define from absurd antibiotic for children. So it is necessary to carry on the healthy education in the community. The parent have the ability to accept the education and can compare to make use of goodly also in the fulfillment, for kept child from not reasonable usage antibiotics to rise effectively to promote the function actively.
