According to World HealthOrganization clause, blood pressure of hypertension should exceed140/90mmHg. The sample census of nine hundred and forty thousand peopleabove 15 years old in our country which was taken in 1991 showed that thestandardized prevalence of Hypertension was 11.26%,and the prevalenceincreased 25% in ten years compared with the period from 1979 to 1980.Onthe basis of World Health Organization forecasts, non-communicablediseases will account for 22.8% in the cause of death in 2020, andangiocardiopathy was the first. In our country, Hypertension havecharacteristic of "Three High Three Low", that is high prevalence, highsequelae, high mortality, low awareness, low medicine taking and lowcontrol. So developing prevention and treatment of high blood pressurewithin the state, treating patients with hypertension actively, meanwhilecontroling the blood pressure level of the whole population is of greaturgency.The acupuncture is a part of traditional medical science in themotherland, and a kind of treatment method with definite curativeeffect. In recent years,medical personnels have all done a large numberof work while studying in the acupuncture clinic and experiment oftreating the Essential Hypertension(EH),affirming that acupuncturetreatment has a good curative effect on Essential Hypertension, findingmechanism that acupuncture step down in many aspects, multilevel, manyadjustment function of link. But according to existing reports, inobservation of every unit using acupuncture to treat the EssentialHypertension, it is different to select the Xue, the difference of curative effect is great too, and connot confirm whether antihypertensivemechanism of each point is similar therefore use following the medicalresearch. Therefore use following the medical research approach of thecard of the norm, the clinc study of effective Xue foundation that knowalready, must become. This subject prove the acupuncture "FengChi" is theeffective method to treat the scientific clinical basis for "Xue Lexiconof the People's Republic of China" throuph observing the influence onNO and ADMA express with acupuncture "FengChi" Xue to treat the EH, in thehope of offering the theoretical foundation for acupuncture in terms ofpathologic physiology. Accomplishment of this subject will offerbeneficial enlightenment for promoting the combination of acupuncture andmodern science better.MethodsAll the 60 in-patients who come from acupuncture and moxibustiondepartment of the first hospital in Wuhan, according to history symptomand physical examination and the criteria for diagnosing andclassification of the EH madi by World Health Organization(WHO)/International Society of Hypertension(ISH) in 1999, were dividedinto two groups at random:acupuncture group 30 cases and Betaloc group30 cases. Acupuncture group:we select the FengChi Xue (pair),1 times aday, it is a course of treatment in 2 weeks, treat 2 course of treatmentaltogether. Betaloc group:Take Betaloc 100mg orally, 1 times a day, it isa course of treatment in 2 weeks, treat 2 course of treatmentaltogether. Two groups of case forbid any other ones that can exert aninfluence on the result of treating during treating and observing. Observethe blood pressure change before and after treating in 15min, 30min. Toevaluate the curative effect according to the clinical research guidelineof medicine for cardiovascular system that Ministry of Public Health makesin 1998 in unison after 2 courses of treatment. Collect elbow vein blood of all cases at the same time on an empty stomach before moving about afterwaking up before treating and after 2 courses of treatment to observe thecontent of periphery blood NO and ADMA. Carry on statistical analysisfinally.Results1. The acupuncture group rescent effective rate is 93.33%,but the Betalocgroup is 76.67%.The acupuncture group rescent effective rate is higherthan Betaloc group. There is a significant difference between the twogroups, P＜0.05.2. The two groups have all immediate effective,the acupuncture groupeffective rate is 80%,but the Betaloc group is 70%.The acupuncture groupimmediate effective rate is higher than Betaloc group, two groups do notrelatively have a significant difference P＜0.05. The blood pressure hasalreadly descended after 15 minutes, in acupuncture group, compared withthe situation before acupuncture, difference have extraordinarysignificant meaning(P＜0.01),the Betaloc group begins the effect in 30minutes.3. The content of NO is hoisted and the content of ADMA is obviouslyreduced. There is a relatively extraordinary significant differenceP＜0.01 with treating by acupuncture. Content of NO and ADMA aftertreating in Betaloc group does not have a significant difference P＞0.05.The acupuncture group comparing with Betaloc group before and aftertreating, the change of ADMA and NO content had extraordinarysignificant difference P＜0.01.Conclusions1. Acupuncture "FengChi" has a precise curative effect to treat the EH, canameliorate the patient's clinc symptom, and recent curative effect ofacupuncture superior to Betaloc, recent efficient rate is higher thanBetaloc. 2. The effect of acupuncture "FengChi" is fast, the blood pressure hasalreadly dropped in 15 minutes after acupuncture. But the Betaloc groupbegins the effect in 30minutes. The result time of Acupuncture earlierthan Betaloc obviously.3. Apcupuncture "FengChi" can hoist the content of NO and reduce thecontent of ADMA in the periphery blood. Depressurization mechanism ofacupuncture might achieve through hoisting the content of NO andreducing the content of ADMA to lighten damage of blood vessel skin.4. Acupuncture "FengChi" is as a kind of simple and convenient, effectivemethod to treat EH, there is certain clinc practical value, is worthpopularizing and applying on clinic further. |
