Phlegm Retention Syndrome Etiology And Pathogenesis Of Diagnostic Criteria

This thesis explores traditional Chinese medicine literatures thatrecords syndrome of phlegem retention obstruction in the middle-jiaoform Han Dynasty to now with the means of combining literatureresearch and statistic analysis. The thesis has three part: Firstly, the thesissystematic analyzes historical origins of syndrome of phlegem retentionobstruction in the middle-jiao by the means of literature research.Secondly; studied current literatures recording syndrome of phlegemretention obstruction in the middle-jiao from 1994 to 2007 with themethod of statistics, the thesis analyzes respectively its distributioncharacter, symptoms and medicine law with frequence analysis andcluster analysis. Thirdly, according to the result of literature researchand statistic analysis, the thesis reconsiders pathogenesis, diagnosiscriteria and medicine law of syndrome of phlegem retention obstructionin the middle-jiao and establishes a foundation for following study.
