Chinese Medicine Wenxinkeli Controlled Clinical Study Of Treatment Of Premature Ventricular Contractions, And Propafenone

Subject:To observe the curative effect of the traditional chinese medicine wen xin granules on the disease of YPB of cardiac arrhythmia through comparision with propafenone,and explore the mechanism and offer the scientific basis for the further clinic application.Method:1.A Total of 100 patients were randomly divided into two groups: the treatment group(50 cases)and the control group(50 cases).The treatment group was treated with wen xin granules(9g,Tid)and the control group was treated with propafenone(150mg,Tid).There were 100 patients in each group without significant difference in Sex,Age,symptom pattern and basic diseases between two groups(p＞0.05).The treatment period of two groups were four weeks.2.Observing the symptoms,signs and the total effective ratios before and after the treatment,making a statistical disposal and comparing the curative effect.3.Making the Holter ECG examination,blood-fat of assay examination and blood viscosity examination in order to compare their changes.4.The blood-routine,urine-routine,stool-routine,liver-function and kidney function were examined to judge the side-effect or toxicity of wen xin granules.5.The statistical method:The data was analyze after observation. The count materials,the measuring materials and the grade materials were examined with X~2,T-test and Ridit respectively.Result:1.The general curative effect:the treatment group:17 cases had marked effect,21 cases were effective,12 had no effect,the total effective rate was 76%;the control group:18 cases had marked effect, 19 wereeffective,13 had no effect,the total effective rate was 74%.The effect of the treatment group was as alike as the control group(p＞0.05).2.The Holter ECG:After treatment,the degree of VPB of two groups were decreasing(p＜0.01),but there was no significant difference between two groups(p＞0.05).3.The syndrome of the traditional chinese medicine:the total ratio of the treatment group was 88%,the control group 70%,there was significant difference between two groups(p＜0.05).4.Theblood-fat and blood viscosity:After treatment,the effect of treatment group were better than that of the control group(p＜0.05). Conclusion:The study proved that wen xin granules may relieve symptoms of patients with VPB.It was a safe and effective drug in treating patients with VPB.
