The thesis is consist of two parts:literatures summarization and clinical research.Literatures summarizationThis part expounds the Adiposis mainly from two different standpoints: Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) and Western Medicine.The part of TCM includes etiological factors and pathogenesis,typing,dependablity with other diseases,idiomatical treatment of Adiposis,as well as introduction of Ling Gui Ba Fa,which refers to the outline,computative method,research situation and clinical application.The part of Western Medicine includes concept of Adiposis,nosogenesis,therapies and their adverse reaction,mechanism of how acupuncture reduce weight.There is also a brief introduction of ear acupoint, includes the relationship among ear,meridian,zang-fu and nerve,action mechanism,frequently used pionts in reducing weight,and stimulating methods.Clinical researchIt is a research for contrasting the curative effect between Ling Gui Ba Fa to get the point according to the time,and Ling Gui Ba Fa to get the point according to the time cooperating with auricular acupuncture in curing Adiposis.Objective:the study is to evaluate the curative effect between Ling Gui Ba Fa to get the point according to the time and Ling Gui Ba Fa to get the point according to the time cooperating with auricular acupuncture in curing Adiposis.Methods:Patients were selected in accordance with the principle of "the guide of disease precaution and control of Chinese adult overweight and obsity" from the disease control bureau in Ministry of Health on March 10,2003.40 Patients were randomized into different groups,one of which is control group,including 10 female and 10 male,were treated with Ling Gui Ba Fa to get the point according to the time.The other one is observed group, including 10 female and 10 male,were treated with Ling Gui Ba Fa to get the point according to the time cooperating with auricular acupuncture.The aim is to analyze and compare the effect of the two methods.Results:1.Patients' indexes such as weight,chest circumference,waistline,hip circumference,thigh circumference,fat rate,BMI values of the groups had shown no distinction before treatment(P＞0.05),which indicated that before treatment all patients are in the same level.2.The patients' indexes such as weight,chest circumference,waistline, hip circumference,thigh circumference,fat rate,BMI values of the observed group had shown significant decreases after treatment(P＜0.05 ),which indicated that the treatment Ling Gui Ba Fa to get the point according to the time cooperating with auricular acupuncture has a satisfactory curative effect.3.The patients' indexes such as weight,chest circumference,waistline, hip circumference,thigh circumference,fat rate,BMI values of the control group had shown significant decreases after treatment(P＜0.05 ),which indicated that the treatment Ling Gui Ba Fa to get the point according to the time also has a satisfactory curative effect.4.After treatment,there are significant distinctions between the two groups in waistline,hip circumference,thigh circumference and BMI values(P＜0.05 ),which had shown Ling Gui Ba Fa to get the point according to the time cooperating with auricular acupuncture has a better curative effect,in improving waistline,hip circumference,thigh circumference and BMI values.5.There is no distinctions between different age stage,male and female, which indicated that age and gender have no influence with the curative effect.Conclusions:1.Both the two methods,Ling Gui Ba Fa to get the point according to the time and Ling Gui Ba Fa to get the point according to the time cooperating with auricular acupuncture,have satisfactory curative effect without any adverse reaction in Adiposis,so they are fit to be extended in application.2.The method,Ling Gui Ba Fa to get the point according to the time cooperating with auriculo-acupuncture has a better curative effect,in improving waistline,hip circumference,thigh circumference and BMI values.3.Age and gender have no influence with the curative effect of Ling Gui Ba Fa to get the point according to the time cooperating with auricular acupuncture or Ling Gui Ba Fa to get the point according to the time.
