| Objective:To study the expression of Notch-lin human gliomas and the correlation between the expression and the gliomas,to explore the role of Notch-lin the tumorigenesis and progression of human gliomas,accordingly to provide some proof of theory for treatment of human gliomas.Methods:The expression of Notch-lgene was detected in 70primary human gliomas andl 2 normal cerebral tissuses by using RT-PCR semi-quantity method.Results:The expression of Notch-1 mRNA have been detected in human gliomas and normal cerebral tissuses and the expression level of Notch-1mRNA in human gliomas was considerably higher than those in normal cerebral tissuses(P<0.01);the expression level of Notch-1mRNA in gliomas of gradeâ… ï½žâ…¡andⅢ~Ⅳwas considerably higher than those in normal cerebral tissuses(P<0.01),and the expression level of Notch-1 mRNA in gliomas of gradeⅢ~Ⅳwas considerably higher than those in gliomas of gradeâ… ï½žâ…¡.Conclusion:The expression of Notch-1mRNA have been detected in human gliomas and normal cerebral tissuses,and the expression of Notch-1mRNA in human gliomas was considerably high,Notch-1may be involved in the tumorigenesis and progression of human gliomas;the expression of Notch-1may be correlation to the pathological grades of human gliomas.So to detecte the expression of Notch-1 gene is important for the clinal diagnose of gliomas. |
