The Zhong Shan Hospital, a subdivision of Fu Dan University, is a comprehensive healthcare organization also served as education facility for both Department of Health Care and Education. Founded in 1937, The hospital's name was chosen in honoring the great pioneer in the very first democratic movement in modern china, Zhong Shan Sun, it was the very first comprehensive treatment centered managed and run by Chinese.In the past 70 years, Zhong Shan hospital achieved so much in discovering in uncharted territories in the modern Chinese health care history, and has been the home for so many famous people in medical treatment and health care management society, such as Ji Si Huang,Ke Fei Shen,Zhao Qi Lin,Du Shan Rong,Shao Qing Wu,Lin Qiu,Gui Lin.To Zhong Shan Hospital, the great courage of always challenge and step in the unknown area in health care industry, and inspiration of putting "we do everything for our patent" to its believe, have remained its core value to the society. This spirit has been inherited by generations of Zhong Shan people and applied to their daily service to the public, the health care research effort, and to build up a strong and advanced health care system that can serve the community in areas of education and training for great amount of medical expert, with its great resource, manpower and expertise, to serve the community with better health care solutions.The 70 some years of progress and development also nurtured a unique culture of the hospital, as China's rapid economical growth, the values of Zhong Shan hospital has kept up its own prosperity.This article begins with introduction of the hospital's histories in treatment and culture, followed by a chain of its believes, to show the relationships between its strategies, core competence and organization imaging, then systematically roll out the "4-layer organization structure, with 16 templates build up", and the close process of culture training by "6 steps", the reevaluation system based on "25 core measurement metric index", to demonstration the organization's vision in growth. And finally, the article will lay out the road map and steps to insure the great success of building the core value system.This article has focused on building up a strong hospital value system with great rational all based on reality, and could be a nice reference to all, and also contributes to the overall strategic development of the hospital in long run.
