Background:Ketotic diabetes mellitus is a common acute complication of diabetes in newly diagnosed ketosis-onset analysis of the clinical features, diabetes type and treatment program of study is research in the field of diabetes, one hot. Objective:Aimed at this issue through our department from 2003 to 2007 ketotic onset of the newly diagnosed diabetic patients were retrospectively analyzed to explore the clinical characteristics(clinical type, the baseline information on the characteristics, treatment, prognosis,Symptoms factor distribution). Methods:The use of hospital medical records retrospectively to investigate statistical methods, were collected from 2003 to 2007 our department treated newly diagnosed diabetic patients in hospital medical records of 91 patients are divided into groups and non-ketotic ketotic group,Registration of all medical records of patients with basic information(name, medical record number, sex, age, height, weight, body mass index, diabetes history, etc.) HbA1c,FBG,C-P,FINS,PBG,2h C-P,2h INS,TG,TC,HDL-Ch,LDL-Ch,GAD,ICA.Statistical analysis of data use SPSS17.0 software,Measurement data is expressed by means±SEM,Variables for normal distribution using the T-test comparison group,For non-normal distribution of variables for the use of non-parametric test to compare group, count data using chi-square test. Results:Ketosis in early-onset diabetes group and the group of non-ketotic onset age, fasting blood glucose(FBG),2h C-peptide were statistically significant differences(P<0.05).48 cases of ketotic group, only three cases of emergence of glutamic acid decarboxylase antibody(GAD) or islet cell antibodies(ICA) positive.Drug use at discharge were more differences, out of which oral drugs and insulin(that is,do not use any medication, diet and exercise alone to control blood sugar) the difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Kidney-yin deficiency is more than 50%both in Ketosis-onset and non-ketotic onset group, which of ketotic onset group is higher than non-ketotic group,74.4%,respectively,52.1% (P<0.05).Stomach heat in Ketotic onset group is higher than non-ketot ic ketotic onset group,47.9%,respectively,25.6%(P<0.05). Conclusions:Ketosis in early-onset diabetes in patients with clinical features have the following:low age, most people has no obvious basis for the autoimmune in pathogenesis, only a small number of human antibody positive.Higher fasting blood glucose, there may be even worse islet B cell function, especially the two-hour postprandial insulin secretion reduced. However, after intensive insulin treatment,B cell function may be a certain degree of recovery, only way of life can be adjusted in the ideal range of blood sugar control.Kidney-yin deficiency is the key evidence in Newly diagnosed diabetes,Stomach heat is particularly prevalent in Ketosis-onset group,Kidney-yin deficiency is particularly prevalent in non-ketotic onset group.
