Objective:1. To investigate the TCM pathological mechanism of gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD) by analyzing the clinical characteristics and the ancient literature.2. To observe the clinical effects of shizuqizhifang in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease.Method:Use gastroscopes,and the clinical manifestation which is belong to the TCM pathological mechanism of shizuqizhi as diagnostic method. Treating the patient who is matched the selection criteria by drinking shizhuqizhifang 200ml at half an hour after the meal,3 times one day. The course of treatment is a month. Evaluate the curative effect by the case history of further consultation. At last, Evaluate the curative effect by Analysis of data. Results:The shizuqizhifang can gain a good effect on the treatment of(GERD). After a month of treatment. The total effective rate is 88.89%, inefficiency is 11.11%. The improving of single symptom of GERD are these:Belching:The total effective rate is 88.46%, inefficiency is 11.54%; Heartburn:The total effective rate is 90.00%, inefficiency is 10.00%; Retrosternal distress:The total effective rate is 90.74%, inefficiency is 9.26%; Stomachache or Bloating: The total effective rate is 93.55%, inefficiency is 6.45%; Sore throat:The total effective rate is 100%, inefficiency is 0.00%; Hiccup:The total effective rate is 76.47%, inefficiency is 23.53%.Conclusion:The shizhuqizhi is the TCM pathological mechanism of GERD disease by analyzing the clinical characteristics andthe ancient literature. The shizuqizhifang is quite effective in treating GERD, especially in treating the sore throat, and is less useful inHiccup.
