Electrocardiography (ECG) is one of the most popular diagnostic technologies in clinical practice. ECG data play an important role in doing research on the characteristics of ECG of all kinds of diseases. Researchers need large numbers of ECG data to study on cardiovascular diseases. However, so far most domestic ECG databases established before have problems, such as the design of epidemiology is not strict, sampling population are not well representative, acquisition methods and operating conditions of ECG are different. Therefore, it is important to build up an authoritative and representative ECG database in China.Data of this research come from the project:"Enlarged Population Investigation of Human Physiological Constant Database", acquired in Heilongjiang Province, which includes the ECG data and general data.Ventricular repolarization inconsistency is an important factor that leads to ventricular arrhythmia. The increase of ventricular repolarization inconsistencies is directly related to the patients'fatalness, and is also the non-specific factor influencing many other heart diseases. The ST-T segment changes and QT interval abnormalities are the common indices to measure the ventricular repolarization inconsistencies in clinical practice and epidemiological surveys.The ST-T segment changes and QT interval abnormalities and the relative factors are obtained from 2045 adults were analyzed. We focused on the value of different obesity types in the prediction of ventricular repolarization inconsistencies. Our conclusion is that as a simple, intuitive and easy-measuring index to weigh the central obesity, waist circumference (WC) is more significantly correlated with ventricular repolarization inconsistencies than body mass index (BMI) or waist-to-hip ratio (WHR). The result suggests that weight control aiming at WC control has better effect on cardiovascular disease prevention.In this research, we used MySQL as our database server to build a database, which regards ECG signals as its core elements. We established an ECG analysis platform based on the Internet. This research accomplished such functions as information retrieval and analysis, data cleaning and importing into database from raw XML documents. We accomplished on-line visualization of wave data. This research used TOMCAT software build up an on-line application platform, which achieved the goal that shared the data with all the Internet subscribers. Different grades of access privileges were issued to the roles such as manages and doctors. The construction of this platform provided technological base and indemnification for the further deeply analysis of Chinese people's ECG information.
