| Chronic congestive heart failure (CHF), afflicting patients so much that many doctors and scientists pay much attention to it. With the gradual understanding of CHF Pathogenesis, the development of hemodynamic mechanism to neuroendocrine-immune network anomaly lead the new concept of pathogenesis of myocardial remodeling, so that the treatment of CHF turn into the "biological treatment" era. It's reported that growth hormone releasing peptide (GHRP) is useful in improving many models of heat disease including cardia insufficiency and cardia damage, from affecting the peripheral receptors or the heart directly with many biological effects. Nevertheless, the mechanism of GHRP to cure CHF haven`t been revealed thoroughly. To study the effects of GHRP to the neurohormone immunocompetence factors system, to provide theory according for clinical work, we took the following experiment. Objective Through GHRP on autonomic nerves were observed in CHF rats, the mechanism and biological treatment would be explored for offering theoretical arguments in clinic. Methods 50 Wistar rats were divided into 3 groups:â‘ the false surgery group(n=10);â‘¡GHRP group(n=30);â‘¢model group(n=10). The CHF rat model by coronary artery ligation were preparated, then the cholinergic nerve fibers were show with Karnovsky-Roots method; the adrenergic nerve fibers were show with immunohistochemisty method. The densities of those two nerve fibers were analyzed by using the analysis of Multi-function Color Pathological Image system. Results The densities of cholinergic nerve fibers and adrenergic nerve fibers in the model group were obviously lower than that in the false surgery group (P<0.01). The densities of those two nerve fibers in the GHRP group were higher than that in the model group (P<0.01), but just a little bit lower than that of the false surgery group (P<0.05). Conclusion GHRP might delay denervation in CHF rats to improve nerve reconstruction, therefore GHRP might having protective effect on cardiac autonomic. |
