Four Gentlemen Decoction Improve Postoperative Quality Of Life In Patients With Spleen Deficiency Type Colorectal Cancer Clinical Studies

Purpose:Observation Four Gentlemen Decoction about improvement of the quality of life for colorectal cancer patientsMaterial and Method:To 5 years, 52 patients with colorectal cancer according to whether oral administration of postoperative chemotherapy in decoction is divided into two groups, treatment group, 27 cases of oral four Gentlemen decoction combined with chemotherapy, 25 patients were chemotherapy alone were observed in patients with clinical symptoms (abdominal pain , abdominal distension, abnormal bowel movements or bowel weakness, anorexia, fatigue), weight change, and quality of life (KPS) of the situation. Count data were analyzed by chi-square test (Fisher exact test), all data were statistically analyzed using sas9.1 software.Results:1,the treatment group the total effective rate of TCM symptoms was significantly higher than the control group (P <0.05).2,treatment group, the quality of life (KPS) improved stability, reduced 17,6,4 cases respectively, with the control group , compared to 6,10,9 cases, significant difference (P <0.05).3,before and after treatment the treatment group gained weight, stability, decrease compared with the control group, significant differences;Conclusion:1,Four Gentlemen Decoction combined with chemotherapy for colorectal cancer patients after clinical symptoms (abdominal pain, bloating, abnormal bowel movements or bowel weakness, poor appetite, fatigue), quality of life, body weight effects were significantly better than patients treated with chemotherapy.2,Four Gentlemen Decoction by spleen and stomach, colorectal cancer patients to help improve quality of life of patients. Have a good clinical value, especially in improving clinical symptoms, and improve the life quality of effective and convenient.
