Relationship Of Serum Uric Acid, Pwv And Abi Levels And Coronary Heart Disease

Objective To study, the relationship between serum uric acid(SUA),pulse wave velocity (PWV),ankle brachial index (ABI) and coronary heart disease (CHD). Method According to the coronary angiography,A total of 180 patients with suspected CHD were divided into CHD group(n=126) and non-CHD group (n=54), CHD group were divided into three subgroups (stenosis of single branch,two branches and multi-branches), SUA were measured by the automatic biochemical analyzer, PWV and ABI were evaluated by the non-invasive screening device. Result:SUA and PWV were higher while ABI is lower in CHD group than those in non-CHD group (P<0.05).Compared to stenosis of single branch and two branches groups, SUA in stenosis of multi-branches group was significantly higher(P<0.05);PWV in stenosis of two branches and multi-branches groups was higher than that in stenosis of single branch group. ABI in stenosis of multi-branches group was significantly lower than that in single branch and two branches groups(P<0.01). Conclusions:The level of SUA,PWV and ABI were related with CHD and its degree, which can be used to diagnose CHD and evaluate its seriousness. Then we can carry out scientific and effective measures for prevention and cure.
