Acupuncture Combined With Maleic Acid The Cinepazide Treatment Of Vertebral - Basilar Artery Insufficiency, Clinical Research

Purpose:Observing the clinical therapeutic effect of acupuncture with Cinepazide Maleate injection on vertebro-basilar insuffieiency vertigoMaterial and method:60 vertigo patients with inclusion criteria are randomly divided into an observation group (n=30) treated by acupuncture with Cinepazide Maleate injection and a control group (n=30)treated by Cinepazide Maleate injection.The control group intravenous drip 0.9% NS 500ml with Cinepazide Maleate injection 8 ml once a day and 14 days is a treatment course.Based on the control group ,the observation group add the acupuncture treatment。The patients of kidney and liver deficiency syndrome choose the following points as the main points:Fengchi(GB20), Baihui(DU20), Sishencong (EX-HN1), Dazhui(DU14),Taichong(LR3), Taixi(KI3);and the patients of Qi and blood deficiency syndrome choose the following points as the main points:Fengchi(GB20), Baihui(DU20), Sishencong(EX-HN1), Qihai(RN6), Xuehai(SP10), Zusanli(ST36).The observation group use the acupuncture once a day,and keep it 30 minutes every time ,and also 14 days is a treatment course. After the treatment course has been finished, observe the major clinical symptoms, the accompany symptoms and signs, as well as TCM syndromes in two groups ,and assess their clinical therapeutic effect.Results:1. Both the observation group and the control group can improve the main clinical syndromes of the vertebro-basilar insuffieiency vertigo ,and the effects are similar. There is 1 invalid patient in the observation group ,and the total effective rate is 96.7%.There are 2 invalid patients in the control group ,and the total effective rate is 93.3%.There is no significant difference between the two groups(p > 0.05). But the observation group is better than the control group at the cure effect. There are 20 patients cured in the observation group,and the cure rate is 66.7%.There are 12 patients cured in the control group,and the cure rate is 40.0%. There is a statistical significance in the main clinical therapeutic effect between the two groups(P < 0.05 ), and the observation group is better than the control group at the cure effect,and it means the accupuncture has a more advantage .2. The observation group is better than the control group at treating the accompany symptoms and signs. After the treatment ,the accompany symptoms and signs of patients in the observation group all relieve obviously or disappear, while in the control group, only a partial of patients relieve or disappear,and there are significant differences in the effective rate between the two groups (p < 0.05). The acupunture dose well in treating the nausea, vomiting, headache, and the treatment effect is more thorough.From this clinical research,we also see that accupuncture in Neiguan and Zusanli can improve the nausea, vomiting obviously,and accupuncture in Taiyang , Shuaigu and Fengchi can improve the headache obviously and quickly.3. The accupuncture may improve and cure the TCM syndroms of the vertebro-basilar insuffieiency vertigo obviously,but there is no significant difference in improving the different TCM syndrome types . There is 1 invalid patient in the observation group ,and the total effective rate is 96.7%.There are 11 invalid patients in the control group ,and the total effective rate is 63.3%.There are significant differences between the two groups(p < 0.01), and the observation group is better than the control group. There are 11 patients cured in the observation group,and the cure rate is 36.7%.There are 3 patients cured in the control group,and the cure rate is 10.0%. There is a statistical significance in the cure effect between the two groups(P < 0.05 ), and the observation group is better than the control group at the cure effect. The TCM effect between kidney and liver deficiency syndrome and Qi and blood deficiency syndrome in the observation group is similar .The cure rate of the kidney and liver deficiency syndrome is 33.3%,and the total effective rate is 94.4%.The cure rate of the Qi and blood deficiency syndrome is 41.7%,and the total effective rate is 100.0%. There is no significant difference (P>0.05),and it can't state that the effect of Qi and blood deficiency syndrome is better than it of kidney and liver deficiency syndrome.Conclusion:The acupuncture can not only obviously improve the main clinical symptoms and the accompany symptoms and signs of the vertebro-basilar insuffieieney vertigo, but also improve the TCM symptoms effectively, so it is a good kind of treatment of vertebro-basilar insuffieieney vertigo, and fit for more clinical application.
