"the Book Of Songs - Song Shang And Zhou Culture

The ode of《The Book Of Songs》is divided into three parts——《The Zhou Song》《The Lu Song》《The Shang Song》.This paper put《The Shang Song》as the research object, mainly researching《The Shang Song》as well as the culture of Shang dynasty and Zhou dynasty which is reflected from《The Shang Song》.Specifically , the paper is totally divided into seven parts to account for this proposition.The first part ,The creation era of《The Shang Song》.That《The Shang Song》is the works of Shang dynasty or the one of Zhou dynasty is a puzzle which troubled literary for thousands of years and is also the key of the research of《The Shang Song》. In the first part, the author elaborates this problem by two sections. The first section introduces views of past dynasties scholars about this question to readers, which can make readers understand the authority's opinions. The second section introduces views of the author myself to readers, which is that《The Shang Song》is created by the people of Shang dynasty but modified by the people of Zhou dynasty in the spreading process. In this section, the author will put forward views and prove it.The second part, the culture of Shang dynasty reflected by《The Shang Song》.《The Shang Song》is created in Shang dynasty, so it must reflect the culture of Shang dynasty, which is the value of its historical research. The second part is divided into five sections. The first section describe《The Shang Song》as epic poetry and hymns. Readers can realize the great history of Shang dynasty by《The Shang Song》.The second section introduces the culture of Shang dynasty's sound worship and sacrifice by the analysis to《The Shang Song》.The third section introduces the Shang dynasty's religious views ,which can make readers understand the cult of Shang people to ghosts and ancestors. The fourth and fifth section respectively reduces the Shang dynasty's etiquette system and aesthetic fashion that is reflected by《The Shang Song》.The third part, The trace of Zhou dynasty's culture in《The Shang Song》.《The Shang Song》is created in the Shang dynasty, but it's compiled by Confucius in the Spring and Autumn Period. After so long history baptism ,《The Shang Song》 must be nurtured by the culture of Zhou dynasty, so we can find the trace of Zhou dynasty's culture in《The Shang Song》.The fourth part, the artistic features of《The Shang Song》.The author interpret artistic features of《The Shang Song》by two aspects .On one hand,《The Shang Song》has common features haven by all of odes. Knowing them can help knowing《The Shang Song》better. On the other hand ,《The Shang Song》has unique artistic features belonging to itself only.
